February Update

Here’s what happened in February 2015:

  • The team had a crazy amount of severe colds this month. Several Sundays, there was one or more family who couldn’t attend services because of sickness.
  • The teachers and secretary, Jonathan, and Lavern traveled to Kraków for 2 days. The purpose of the trip was to visit an English school there that also uses English as a medium for evangelism. Our time with them is always inspiring and a shot in the arm for us as we discuss how we can improve our service to our students. Plus, we love the chance to be tourists in the grand old city for part of a day.
  • Some of the youth girls went to Gdańsk for a short weekend to attend a youth conference. They enjoyed the fellowship with Christians, and being in a group of positive, happy people who speak English!

Financial and Material Needs

The mission ladies share a sewing machine between 3 households. The machine was bought over 10 years ago with funds from a ladies’ Sunday school class in the US. It has been heavily used, and is now very difficult to use and maintain and is badly in need of replacement. Please contact Matthew Mast at homeoffice@aimpoland.org if you’re interested in meeting this need.

Some supporters of AIM make monthly financial contributions for which we are very grateful. To address the gap between donations and actual monthly expenses, we are seeking additional supporters who will commit to regular giving, whether large or small amounts.

Donations can be earmarked for staff support, Gateway to English, or Seed of Truth.
